The installation of a ground station—comprising two antennas for signal exchange in UHF and S-band frequencies and a control center—has been completed on the roof of the International Metrology Institute at the TÜBİTAK Marmara Research Center’s Gebze Campus. RAST 2026
Following its launch on January 14, 2025, aboard the SpaceX Transporter-11 mission, the PAUSAT satellite has successfully completed its communication integration and orientation adjustments and has commenced operations. Work is currently underway to colorize—using image processing techniques—the initial images captured via the linescan method with the satellite’s 1.5-meter resolution camera.
PAUSAT is ready for launch!
Papers have been presented at international scientific meetings. Support regarding information and topic evaluation has been provided to various high schools and universities for international space-themed competitions; many of these institutions achieved top rankings. The public has been informed about space-related topics through both print and visual media.
Conferences
The installation of the ground station in Islamabad, Pakistan—established in collaboration with Profen for PAUSAT-1 CubeSat communications—has been completed, and the facility has been handed over to Pakistan Air University. Satellite operations, previously conducted via UHUZAM, have been transferred to Pakistan.
